Greek Heritage Night brings Bay Area dancers, singers, and families together June 7

From FDF to the field, Oakland Athletics mascot Stomper joins in the fun

The Oakland Athletics welcome the Bay Area Greek American greater community to the Oakland Coliseum on Thursday, June 7 at 7:05 p.m. for the first annual Greek Heritage Night. The A’s will be playing against the Kansas City Royals.

Festivities include a pre-game mini-festival starting at 5:30pm on Championship Plaza featuring food trucks with Greek-inspired food items, Greek music, an HJ table, and more surprises before the game. Costumed dancers from Oakland to San Jose, San Francisco, Novato, and more will come together in center field for the largest Greek folk dance in Oakland Coliseum history before the ceremonial first pitch which will be thrown out by OSS Greek Operational Group WWII Veteran and co-founder of Fantasy Football Andrew Mousalimas.

95.7 The Game’s Anna Kagarakis

Choral singers from the Bay Area Greek Orthodox choirs will also be on hand to sing the National Anthem and bouzouki artist Mike Kutulas will offer a new rendition to “Take Me Out To The Ballgame” during the 7th inning stretch.
