Protegenesis Novel and Theme Song Premiere

April 10, 2018 | San Francisco, CA

The global release of Protogenesis: Before the Beginning, featuring the first out of seven novels, by author Alysia Helming along with the official book theme song, Forever and Tonight, by award-winning Greek artist Kostas Martakis premieres from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Barbarossa Lounge, 714 Montgomery Street in San Francisco. Tickets range from $50 – $75 with proceeds benefiting the SF Greek Film Festival. South East European Film Festival

The 13th annual South East European Film Festival (SEEFEST) begins April 26th and brings a large selection of feature, documentaries and short films to Writers Guild Theater, Laemmle Music Hall and West Hollywood Council Chambers/Library campus, highlighting a bygone era of 100 years ago centered around Trieste, once a major port of the Habsburg empire and a magnet for artists like Rilke and Joyce. Festival passes, and tickets to pre-festival events are available on eventbrite/SEEfest. Nana Mouskouri

The legendary Nana Mouskouri has sold over 200 million records in several languages and is one of the top selling artists in the world. Sting – Odeon of Herodes Atticus

At the foothills of the Acropolis, at a venue of unique acoustic and historical significance, this world-renowned artist will give two concerts to the Greek audience over two evenings that will be remembered for a long time.

Composer, singer-songwriter, actor, author, and activist Sting was born in Newcastle, England before moving to London in 1977 to form The Police with Stewart Copeland and Andy Summers. The band released five studio albums, earned six Grammy Awards and two Brits, and was inducted into The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2003.
